I’m a “simple” person, but still having more than a little “trouble” focusing on simple things, like “Did the Government exceed the scope of the search warrant, and seize things they shouldn’t have seized when the warrant was executed at the River Birch office?” and “Did Government do what Berrigan told them to do, and return all illegally seized items from the River Birch office?”. Nonetheless, as the Comments to “River Birch” POSTS clearly demonstrate, there is something MACHIAVELLIAN going on here that’s leaving more than a few of us GUESSING. In trying to learn more about the relationships involved, I made a discovery: The federal Government, through FEMA, has “beaucoup” contracts with Waste Management, not only here, but all over the country. QUERY: Could FEMA have a vested interest in seeing to it that those “relationships” remain in place here in the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan Area, and what might that bode for River Birch, et al? As to the DOD contract with River Birch, it was in 2009, and was only for @ $15,000. If it wasn’t a “stand alone” contract with River Birch, it could have been something River Birch picked up from Waste Management when Waste management got the boot.     Its only the tip of the iceberg but should illustrate to the DOJ and FBI just what the Birchers are doing not just in Jefferson but in surrounding parishes.

    On that point, you might recall that the mob in New Orleans started in the French Quarter. It was largely a Sicilian immigrant (often impoverished) neighborhood essentially at or around the turn of the 20th century.

    The Marcellos emerged from that milieu and among other things had their own produce company, Pelican Tomato, Imperial Meat, they ran La Louisiana restaurant, etc. The name Marcello turns up almost 500 entities in the LA SOS database.

    Well if you look up the Marcellos’ ownings in the Orleans assessors and LA SOS online databases you will see they have a LOT of property in the French Quarter to this day. One such property, owned by Vince Marcello (who is around town in a variety of “endeavors”) is Maximo’s Restaurant.

          After losing the Jefferson Parish Council’s backing, state Sen. Danny Martiny said he will drop a bill to amend public records laws to let prosecutors block the release of subpoenaed government documents if they deem the release would impede their investigations.
          The council Wednesday unanimously rescinded a resolution supporting the legislation after questions emerged about whether prosecutors deem the bill necessary.
          Martiny, R-Metairie, co-sponsored Senate Bill 279 at the request of the parish’s law department, which said it caught flak from federal authorities when subpoenaed records in the investigation of former Parish President Aaron Broussard’s administration were released to the news media.
          U.S. Attorney Jim Letten has said his investigators were concerned about how quickly the parish responded to the subpoenas, not the fact that the records were released to the news media under public records laws.
          Letten has declined to give an opinion on the bill, which would have given investigators five days after a public body receives a request for subpoenaed records to block the records from being released.

    Hainkel and Hollis I believe helped raise the State monies originally for the NPACenter. But I think the Council of Clowns then started their juggling act and feeding at the elephant’s trough in exchange for campaign contributions( including then Councilman Young who this very A.M on wwl-tv said it was the two previous Administrations who are at fault for the 26 MILLION cost overruns).Someone should suggest Young be checked soon for Alzheimer’s.

    The main juggler being the enormous LargeASSe Clown who ordered Whitmer to sign the check for 5.2 MILLION signed to contractor Calderera despite JP Dept. heads objecting over payment by 100%(2.6 MILLION excess).

    Now the main juggler himself in the TP has turned to juggling knives toward the contractor to save his LargeASSE, but it appears its too little ASSE too late.
