“CLUE” – the River Birch version

It was NAAS, and not Colonel Mustard, who launched the River Birch version of CLUE® with this question posted to  Judge Berrigan orders River Birch to file a floor plan with the Court:

Which “team” is it that reviews seized documents and records to cull out the truly privileged, confidential or unrelated documents not covered by the warrant?

Pull a card from the Government’  Opposition to Return of Seized Property and Incorporated Memorandum (scribd format below) and the game begins with this “clue”:

Special Agent Bezet and other agents made every lawful effort to separate what was believed to be attorney-client privileged material for a late inspection by a taint team. As noted in Petitioner’s Memorandum, a “clean team” was on scene to collect items from Peter Butler, Sr.’s office at 2000 Belle Chasse Hwy.

The Government rolled the dice and submitted clues about “who done it” in  Attachment B to the Warrant authorizing the search of the River Birch office building AKA Exhibit H in the Opposition (text-only Exhibits incorporated with brief in scribd format below):

Any and all documents, correspondence, letters, notes, memorandums, printouts, records, contracts, communications, writings, billing records, payments, expenditures, agreements, calendars, message books, emails, facsimiles, and electronic communications as they relate to Henry Mouton, Derrick Shepherd, Jody Amedee, Timothy Whitmer, Aaron Broussard, Gentilly landfill, John Ward Vandervort, Christopher W. Vandervort, Julie A. Vandervort, Dominic A. Fazzio, Rebecca T. Fazzio, Tom Wilkinson, Water Front Properties, LLC, Ring Associates, LLC, B & C Contractors, LLC, Dangle & Associates, LLC, Anne’s Properties, LLC, and Big Bang Properties, LLC…

Yeah, I should lose a turn for overlooking this “who done it” exhibit until now – but, then you wouldn’t see the “room” card I’ve been holding since March 2010:

“The water that flooded Jefferson Parish created a rising tide – lifting the ship of opportunity for contractors, sinking the Parish leadership with related conflicting interests.

Traditional thinking associates flooding with water without considering the water is full of trash – and even more trash than usual if pump stations are disabled during a flood. The higher the water and the longer it stands, the greater the damage and amount of trash resulting from the flooding.” (The rising tide that’s sinking all ships – the flooding of Jefferson Parish following Hurricane Katrina Nowdoucit, March 4, 2010)

It takes three clue cards to make a winning guess  and we only have two – the suspect and the room.  Anyone got a clue about the weapon?

Any and all documents, correspondence, letters, notes, memorandums, printouts, records, contracts, communications, writings, billing records, payments, expenditures, agreements, calendars, message books, emails, facsimiles, and electronic communications as they relate to the Request for Proposals issued by Jefferson Parish., Louisiana, #RFP-0176, Responses to the Request for Proposals, bids, and contracts, and any other business dealings between RBL and Jefferson Parish.

Any and all documents, correspondence, letters, notes, memorandums, printouts, records, contracts, communications, writings, billing records, payments, expenditures, agreements, calendars, message books, emails, facsimiles, and electronic communications as they relate to any legislation, or proposed legislation concerning the Gentilly Landfill.

Talk about a weapon!  A pocket full of public officials and contractors could definitely deliver a death blow – but speaking of pockets, take a look at this photograph from the Government’s “tour guide” before you put your envelope of cards on the table. Is this the pocket?

Anyone want to show their cards? How about I show mine and you challenge if you’ve got a better solution to the crime?

  • Mr. Woody Waste did the dirty deed
  • in the pump room with a pocket full of public officials and contractors that
  • hit Jefferson Parish with a rising tide of proposals and legislation that lifted River Birch until greed sank the ship

What a game! What a show!

  1. The “taint team” must be the answer to my question. They are to make sure the whole process doesn’t become tainted with fruit from a poisonous tree.

  2. First of all I’d like to say I was looking at that damn shirt too. But what does it mean?

Secondly, before getting into facts and issues it’s worth noting what a well written piece this is. The whole line of writing on this issue has been great. There I said it, it had to be said after all.

  3. Thanks, Tele. Now, about that “damn shirt” – I can’t count the number of times I’ve looked at that picture and wondered why…also have wondered what’s written over each pocket but haven’t been to read.

As to the “teams” NAAS, there’s more in the Government’s opposition brief. One thing for certain is the government came prepared and appears to have been extremely careful to stay within the limits of the very broadly defined search as well as extremely careful about the handling of sensitive information.

    1. If memory serves he was one of the folks pushing hard for closing Gentilly after Katrina.

The folks in NOLA have been paying though the nose for trash pcikup ever since.

      sop

  4. What sparked my interest more than the shirt is what the shirt is hanging on. Seems to be a fixed ladder with a rope that possibly operates an access door above. Where does that lead???

  5. “The Taint Team”. Are you fucking SHITTING me? “Taint”, according to Webster’s is the territory between the genitalia and the anus, and probably covered in shit, piss or both, depending on the hygiene of the person whose “taint” we’re talking about. And since my prosecutor, AUSA Gregory Kennedy, also ran the execution of the search warrant at the River Birch offices, I’ll let “The SLABBED Nation” decide how “clean” or “dirty” this “Taint Team” was or is. One thing I can predict from personal experience with the U.S. Department of “Injustice” since 8/29/05: When instructed by Berrigan to do something, THEY WILL LIE. Ashton O’Dwyer a/k/a “The WHITE Henry Glover”.

  6. There’s more than just Pierre’s dry-cleaned shirt hanging there. There’s also a pair of pants, presumably Pierre’s as well, and some other shirts. I bet that Shop-Vac is full of wet wood, or wet cash.

  7. I think that’s simply an extension ladder leaning against the wall. It’s the kind that has a rope for extending one half of the ladder.

There does appear to be at least one box of something behind the plenum on the right, with what look like “video” or DVD cases on top. And, the 2 black “boxes” sitting atop the electrical panel may be something.

  8. I know this is getting ridiculous, but NAAS, I don’t think that’s an extension ladder. It would have to be one section of an extension ladder, but I don’t know of any extension ladders (even half) that could fit in such a small space.

Maybe a helicopter could land on the ladder.

  9. Nowdy, Jr.’s right, above: “Pierre” on one pocket, “Willow, Inc.” on the other.

Is that a work shirt for some maintenance guy named Pierre?

Or is that a bowling/novelty shirt for someone with first or last named Pierre or just someone they call “Pierre.” It sure looks like it’s nice and pressed and propped up there for the name to be seen.

    This is the closest:

“”””Many Waggaman residents got a chance to sound off about odors from the two local landfills during a town hall meeting called by Jefferson Parish Councilman Byron Lee on March 22 at the Waggaman Playground.

“I want to discuss issues of concern and have made it my issue to put it on the forefront,” Lee said told the crowd of about 30 residents who showed up for the meeting.

Resident Mark Franko said he wanted to talk about the “smell from the garbage dump.” Like Franko, many other residents said the foul smell disrupts their lives, discouraging them from doing regular outdoor activities.

Others said they fear the odors may be hazardous to their health. One resident said her children have suffered more asthma attacks since the landfill opened.

South Kenner residents said they also have smelled a mysterious burning odor about 10 or 11 p.m., and there are rumors circulating that the River Birch and Jefferson Parish landfills have been using shredded tires to cover the landfill.

Land values have dropped, and homeowners find it difficult to sell their homes because of the landfills, residents said.””””

“””Rumors of tire shredding to cover the landfill were denied.

Rick Buller, an engineer with the Jefferson Parish Landfill, said untreated sludge waste is incinerated before it is accepted.

As for the burning smell at night, Buller said, it is a simple procedure of clearing the land of brush piles.

The piles are burned in the daytime but continue to smolder overnight. Ninety percent of the area is now cleaned, he said.

Marnie Winter, director of the Jefferson Parish Environmental Affairs department, assured residents that the odor will be reduced soon.

Jefferson Parish officials are monitoring the landfill operation and will report any development on its gas-collection system, implement an odor-control program that will neutralize or mask the odor, and use enzymes to break down odors. A device called the Nasal Rangers also will be used to aid in measuring the level of odors.

Parish officials will look into alternate covers for the landfill.

CDM , a company hired by Jefferson Parish, will research different strategies to rid the community of the smell, Winter said. CDM also will evaluate incoming waste loads and sludge.

“A lot is not going to happen overnight, but we

  10. By the way – there are about 5 sealed documents filed on the docket since January.

Can’t tell by whom but the Birchers did try to get this whole proceeding sealed at the very beginning of this whole thing too.

  11. Sock: Continuing in the “ridiculous” vein, what about the “ladder” right behind the shirt next to the large air duct or plenum? Is it a ladder, or a folding step-stool?

Also, I bet that’s either Pierre’s time card or his laundry receipt from the company that does the uniform service for the company.

  12. All you seal counters take note. I just added the docket to the post. Look below the Government’s opposition brief in scribd format.

  13. Absolute speculation – the plain sight presence of a uniform shirt bearing the names Willow, Inc. and Pierre may be some kind of evidence this room was off limits to the search unless those 2 names appear in the warrant? The judge wants a blueprint to see if this is a common area to the whole floor so any evidence found in the room is fair game?

  14. Telemachus , Nowdy, NAAS- I’m in construction and that’s no ordinary freakin welds on extra wide rungs of ladder. the large plenum on left, which looks like it has an electronic air scrubber, goes up to compressors directly above.Pierre is a big general maintenance man who needs heavy duty ladder to carry himself and equipment to roof via square trap door. But why store your freakin laundered shirts (3) in the roof excess room. NAAS,s theory sounds possible.Telemachus, FYI- Freakin CDM has yearly contract on odor and bird control at JP landfill which theriot lowered from $320,000 to $75,00 in june, 2010, resolution 114756. Sounds like JP was being overcharged by CDM fockers.

  15. A fart brain thought. Some secret agent needs to freakin call John Pierre’ at 931-7316 and ask why he keeps his laundered shirts in dirty roof access room. the focker will be either blown away wondering how anyone knew that . Or if he doesn’t hang them there its another CLUE to who done it.

  16. punditto, how many of these trap doors would be needed to access the compressors on the roof?

are these compressors part of a single unit or is there one for every floor?

what part or parts of the system are housed in this “closet”?

one last question, hope you don’t mind, but how often do you see a general maintenance man in laundered shirts versus wash-and-wear?

    Thanks!

  17. {Laughin’ here}

Ha, you know what, that is sure enough a dry cleaning tag on that damn shirt, isn’t it? What the hell kind of large, maintenance man, A/C-repairing-roof-climbin’ man is this?

Is this your company? Claim This Profile Willow Inc in Gretna, LA is a private company categorized under Home Builders. Current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of $2.5 to 5 million and employs a staff of approximately 10 to 19.

Now, they also have a Willow, Inc. from Harvey that is a building maintenance contractor.

  19. There are still a few companies around that provide uniforms for their employees, including the laundering. I bet Willow, Inc., River Birch, and other Heebe, Sneed, Ward, etc. companies have a laundry deal with Cintas.

  20. Gate, just what sort of property might cause someone to name the business “Big Bang”?

That’s not really a clue but the popularity of “LLC” might be one – depending, I suppose, on the “members”. The more corporate members, the more clues. Dig deep enough and you might turn up enough clues to fill (ahem) a landfill.

  21. A roll call:

Henry Mouton, Derrick Shepherd, Jody Amedee, Timothy Whitmer, Aaron Broussard, Gentilly landfill, John Ward Vandervort, Christopher W. Vandervort, Julie A. Vandervort, Dominic A. Fazzio, Rebecca T. Fazzio, Tom Wilkinson, Water Front Properties, LLC, Ring Associates, LLC, B & C Contractors, LLC, Dangle & Associates, LLC, Anne

  22. Who ? New Orleans SUPER LAWYERS ! These provincial and parochial delusional people really are scary…super because your name appears as the attorney who presumedly incorporated another one of Heebe’s lackey shill fronts…

    It’s all downhill from here…

  23. These are all LLC’s – meaning profits and losses pass through to the members, speaking of “laundry” (in this case not the clean uniforms hanging on the ladder)

  24. Anne dangle has *got* to be nothing mroe than a conduit for campaign contributions.

I have no idea who she is but look at that 293 Firethorn property on google-map (in Timberlane of course, they all seem to be there!) – that is one modest house, but she and her entities have two $5000 checks to Jindal here, about $12,000 for Byron Lee for Congress there and some more for Scalise, another $5000 for Byron Lee for Council elsewhere…. reminiscent of the political donations from Ward’s multitudinous entities.

I will add that that Firethorn address does not show up in TP real estate transfers, it does not show up in the JP assessor online records and the name Dangle does not show up there either.

“A. Dangle”…… as a name for sending money to politicians…… are you freaking kidding me?

  25. Tele, here’s some more scraps:

  27. Actually, 293 Firethorn does show up…

    …belonging to: Anne W. Caldarera.

The assessment is for apx. $15,000.

Here’s where Anne W. Caldarera shows up.

Guess what the “W.” stands for: WARD.

Ok, so when you see Dangle or Russo, that = WARD.

As an aside, I had previously posted about a couple Aaron Broussard entities (Fountain Of Truth Political Action Committee Inc. was one of them) which showed a “Donna Gordon” as an officer. Her full name is Donna Barnes Gordon. Could never figure out her connection but at last there appears a Barnes. With the Wards above. Barnes is a common name but these folks just have no coincidences.

  28. So is the same Caldarera, the contractor, that couldn’t read the blueprints when building the Zephyr Stadium to realize that seating was part of the plan !…and the same Caldarera that has been at least 2 years past the contracted deadline to finish the “PINK ALBATROSS” formally know as the Jefferson Parish Performing Arts Center ? (projected $26 Million Dollars now at $48 Million Dollars and rising; and 27 months past projected opening date with no date in site given as completion )
    http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2010/04/post_341.html

  29. Somehow the Van Dervorts and the Wards are related.

Julie Van Dervort is on the WJMC bd. of directors.

John Ward Van Dervort was married to an Ehret (Lyreen), by the way, the Ehrets are among the few truly founding west bank family names and are very monied.

Then there is this from the assessors office:

Parcel 0400003742. Willie D. Ward (see above) seemingly owns with or transfers 5 parcels or so in Harvey to a Marjorie “W.” Van Dervort. This entry is completely screwed up because there is no location shown which makes it nigh impossible to look up by site. You will not find this transaction by looking up Van Dervort / Vandervort under last name; oh, no, you have to look it up under “Location.” How convenient, maybe that one was personally entered, that must be some interesting property.

Marjorie W. Van Dervort is way up in it (lack of a better term here) at Timberlane. Her husband was apparently Jack Van Dervort. I am going to go out on a wildass limb and GUESS that Marjorie “W.” was a Ward. Seeing as how Jack Van Dervort and Jim Ward were in business together that might make sense as perhaps that’s how they met. Marjorie could be Jim Ward’s sister or cousin, Willie’s niece, etc., something like that.

Julie Van Dervort lives in…. Timberlane. If course.

  30. 2 thoughts here folks:

    1. I’ve had lots of background on the nonperforming arts center that I’ve held on to because it did not fit the narrative. I think we’re getting enough of the puzzle assembled where we can see where the performing arts center debacle fits.

    2. I was struck by certain of the language in the RB search warrant and I’d bet what the FBI found at River Birch led to that subpoena I disclosed back in December involving real estate transactions involving some of these same RB players and that major NOLA media personality.

    sop

  31. To Nowdy: Re River Birch and Department of Defense contract(s). I’m a “simple” person, but still having more than a little “trouble” focusing on simple things, like “Did the Government exceed the scope of the search warrant, and seize things they shouldn’t have seized when the warrant was executed at the River Birch office?” and “Did Government do what Berrigan told them to do, and return all illegally seized items from the River Birch office?”. Nonetheless, as the Comments to “River Birch” POSTS clearly demonstrate, there is something MACHIAVELLIAN going on here that’s leaving more than a few of us GUESSING. In trying to learn more about the relationships involved, I made a discovery: The federal Government, through FEMA, has “beaucoup” contracts with Waste Management, not only here, but all over the country. QUERY: Could FEMA have a vested interest in seeing to it that those “relationships” remain in place here in the Greater New Orleans Metropolitan Area, and what might that bode for River Birch, et al? As to the DOD contract with River Birch, it was in 2009, and was only for @ $15,000. If it wasn’t a “stand alone” contract with River Birch, it could have been something River Birch picked up from Waste Management when Waste management got the boot. Just guessing and speculating, but there are enough rotten fish in this barrel to generate a strong STENCH for some time. Ashton O’Dwyer a/k/a “The WHITE Henry Glover”.

  32. Senator Jody Amedee is on the Environmental Quality Committee

Legislative instruments and other matter referred to this committee shall encompass the following subject matter:

    Air quality
    Environmental control and regulation generally
    Hazardous waste regulation
    Land pollution
    Radiation regulation and control
    Solid waste regulation
    Water resources

He is also the Chairman of the Natural Resources Committee

  33. CLUE players Whitmergate has listed five corporation above, all which were filed with Sec. of State office on 3/12/07, all connected to same families’ relatives and all became not in good standing for failure to file annual reports.

One must conclude all five corps were formed for same cause and purpose which either was accomplished or failed within a year.

Players of CLUE must research not only the parish politics agendas of this 3/07 to 3/08 time period, but also what campaign contributions each corp made and the known business activities of the involved families.

Or if you don’t have the patience and time to do said research or wait for responsive information from subpoenas you can do an 11 hour raid.

  34. Now, here’s a CLUE -I see you’re up on the “open thread” ‘Gate but I guess Tele has called it a day; so he’ll have to catch up whenever…BUT

“What emerged were clusters of owners who were using multiple LLCs under their control to make multiple contributions of the maximum $5,000…

If this is legal, then there are no caps on contributions under Louisiana law. A wealthy person could create a series of LLCs and make as many maximum contributions to a single campaign as LLCs he/she controlled.”

Can’t say that I was exactly onto this “scam” last night but I did pick up a scent

At any rate, this makes me wonder how Louisiana law treats an LLC – but it’s my understanding that an LLC would have the same authority and restrictions as an individual.

  35. Nowdy, I am becoming increasingly concerned that the politicians here in Louisiana, particularly South Louisiana, have been and are presently describing what may be the signs of being afflicted with the “Sergeant Schultz Syndrome” and can be detected when they open their mouth and say, “I know nothing! “… and I’m sad to say it appears to be epidemic at this time given the recent statements of John Young…

Here’s a reported case from October 2007 that you were kind enough to bring to our attention, and I defer to your quote:

“The candidates deposited the checks in their campaign accounts, they said, even though they do not know the people who signed them.”
    http://www.houmatoday.com/article/20071017/NEWS/71017011?p=5&tc=pg

The cause of this disease is believed to be associated with the trash connected to the River Birch landfill…possibly a result of the virulent political pollution that continues to emanate from the landfill’s genesis…

  36. Someone recently posted a list of businesses owned by different variations of the name Fred Heebe – 19 as I recall – was that you?

Any guess as to just how many LLC’s were attached to the various entities and individuals (inc of family members) located on the 3rd floor of the River Birch building?

  37. Oh Steve you wonderful conspiracy theorist you!
Pierre, oh Pierre whose Willow Inc shirt was found by the Feds:
Come out, come out wherever you are!

Or maybe it was to give the Birchers the Heebie-jeebies that the Feds already got to Pierre?

  38. Due to the huge number of views this post has generated and continuing excellent commentary I’ve made this post sticky on our front page for the weekend. Keep digging and sleuthing folks!

    sop

  39. Nowdy, fantastic discovery of the October 2007 Houma news article and article on the LLC campaign fund conspiracy as both relate to the multiple 3/12/07 corporation filings by the Birchers.

Its only the tip of the iceberg but should illustrate to the DOJ and FBI just what the Birchers are doing not just in Jefferson but in surrounding parishes.

Like the Houma article says there is no normal operational bodies to these corporation shells and their sole purpose is to buy politicians to favor the Birchers’ businesses.

Have to wonder when one of those Peabody investigators will pick up on your exclusive CLUE game and run an investigative story on the Birches’ LLC political funding conspiracy.

Meanwhile, let the Clue game continue.

  40. Steve mentions Lucky Pierre.

As in the erstwhile French Quarter jernt run by the mob? Is that a hint, hint?

    {Btw, There’s a great book called “Mr. New Orleans” (that I’m thinking is 50% apocryphal, 50% true, but which is awesome reading) which might be of interest to libiophiles.}

    http://www.amazon.com/Mr-New-Orleans-Underworld-Legend/dp/1597776165/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297702946&sr=8-1

    {Another good book is The Crescent City Lynchings which talks in part about the origins of the mob in New Orleans (which in fact may have been a main wellspring for the mafia in the USA in general, supposedly words “mafia” and “vendetta” first surfaced in the US in our fair city. There were Matranga, }

    http://books.google.com/books?id=EqwsXBErt2AC&pg=PA12&lpg=PA12&dq=book+the+sicilian+lynchings&source=bl&ots=FShTI9vFCJ&sig=RtdAewdPPnlNeRj67NzCiTsjdUc&hl=en&ei=sFxZTb2jAoG3tgestqGiDQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CCEQ6AEwAg#v=onepage&q&f=false

    http://www.lacndb.com/php/Info.php?name=Family%20-%20Marcello%20(Matranga)

On that point, you might recall that the mob in New Orleans started in the French Quarter. It was largely a Sicilian immigrant (often impoverished) neighborhood essentially at or around the turn of the 20th century.

The Marcellos emerged from that milieu and among other things had their own produce company, Pelican Tomato, Imperial Meat, they ran La Louisiana restaurant, etc. The name Marcello turns up almost 500 entities in the LA SOS database.

Well if you look up the Marcellos’ ownings in the Orleans assessors and LA SOS online databases you will see they have a LOT of property in the French Quarter to this day. One such property, owned by Vince Marcello (who is around town in a variety of “endeavors”) is Maximo’s Restaurant.

This is where the Oyster, in his blog, The Right Hand Thief, reported one day the very interesting fact that his ex-“chef” there eventually ended up being busted a multi-state drug ring kingpin:

    http://righthandthief.blogspot.com/2010/02/just-say-no-to-drug-kingpins.html

Heck of a sideline for a chef.

Maybe that is what Lucky Pierre is still up to to this day?

  42. You give too little credit to the Metairie state connection particularly in the Arts and Entertainment debacle, (SOP has some interesting public records e-mails). I will give you a clue , there is connection to Frank J. Caracci to past and present JP politico’s that transcends Harry Lee.

    1. Tom: You talking before Cowboy Lee huh.Hmmm

Al Cronvich was involved in wire tapping incident and lost to Harry in a run-off in 1979 ?

Does that get us any warmer.

      1. No a former partner of the cowboy and parish politico who is connected to the parish in obtaining state grant funds, was directly involved with funding in the Arts and Entertainment Center and other projects. Also protector of the Sheriffs office dirty deeds. Question now is did he cash in on some of the campaign contributions from the Heebe, Fazzio, Caldera foundations?

      2. Lockemup,
member of the Senate committees on Commerce, Consumer Protection, and International Affairs

        Thursday, April 15, 2010, 6:22 AM
After losing the Jefferson Parish Council’s backing, state Sen. Danny Martiny said he will drop a bill to amend public records laws to let prosecutors block the release of subpoenaed government documents if they deem the release would impede their investigations.
The council Wednesday unanimously rescinded a resolution supporting the legislation after questions emerged about whether prosecutors deem the bill necessary.
Martiny, R-Metairie, co-sponsored Senate Bill 279 at the request of the parish’s law department, which said it caught flak from federal authorities when subpoenaed records in the investigation of former Parish President Aaron Broussard’s administration were released to the news media.
U.S. Attorney Jim Letten has said his investigators were concerned about how quickly the parish responded to the subpoenas, not the fact that the records were released to the news media under public records laws.
Letten has declined to give an opinion on the bill, which would have given investigators five days after a public body receives a request for subpoenaed records to block the records from being released.

  43. Tom: You are hinting Martiny is in the loop and that may very well be judging from the PRR legis crap he proposed/ promoted at the suggestion of the corrupt Parish Attorney Office.

Hainkel and Hollis I believe helped raise the State monies originally for the NPACenter. But I think the Council of Clowns then started their juggling act and feeding at the elephant’s trough in exchange for campaign contributions( including then Councilman Young who this very A.M on wwl-tv said it was the two previous Administrations who are at fault for the 26 MILLION cost overruns).Someone should suggest Young be checked soon for Alzheimer’s.

The main juggler being the enormous LargeASSe Clown who ordered Whitmer to sign the check for 5.2 MILLION signed to contractor Calderera despite JP Dept. heads objecting over payment by 100%(2.6 MILLION excess).

Now the main juggler himself in the TP has turned to juggling knives toward the contractor to save his LargeASSE, but it appears its too little ASSE too late.
