Posting time is short for me folks but I have been doing my own thing following some money. Now I want everyone to follow along with me:
New alleged arrangement between Nagin and Lake Forest Plaza owner ~ Hammerman
Solomon owns the graffiti-laced Grand Theatre at Lake Forest Plaza with bankers Ashton Ryan and Alden McDonald. The abandoned stadium-seating theater has been an eyesore since Katrina, even though it got a $5 million federal loan backed by the city, tax penalties waived and a $17 million loan from Lowe’s Home Improvement, which has a store next door.
As we reported exclusively in January, Ryan sent Nagin a letter in 2007 asking the mayor for more corporate welfare — and reminding him about the promises Nagin had made to Solomon and McDonald to help the theater project.
On Friday, we confronted Ryan, who along with Solomon and McDonald, had evaded our questions for over a month. We asked him if he was Businessman A.

FIRST NBC BANK HOLDING COMPANY ANNOUNCES PRICING OF ITS INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING ~ Company Press release found via social media
Now the question. After going through the S-1 and 424B4 looking to ascertain the people behind the bank I found this:
Where is Dale Atkins? She is out front ringing the bell on the NYSE but somehow missed being included the prospectus where these securities were being offered to the public. Very interesting.
http://www.fox8live.com/story/22401592/2013/05/22/zurik-playing-with-fire-buds-money
My timing is off. WDSU showed footage of Atkins ringing the bell and I’ve had it on my to do list ever since.
Gotta give Zurik props on his piece though I’m certain it was gift wrapped for him.
Them Board jobs sure are nice huh?
that new orleans fire pension board is the pitts. they should just put the money in some index funds. instead they invest in a shitty golf course, a ponzi scheme hedge fund, 1st nbc and god knows what else.
there are other board members (ex?) who did not make the prospectus. https://www.firstnbcbank.com/about-us-officers-and-directors.htm
It seems she may be a Board Member of the Bank, but not the Holding Company.
As an aside, that Wellington Management Co. seems like an interesting entity, huh? Investors from “Cayman” and “Bermuda.” Hmmm…
wellington is an established investment adviser. the cayman and bermuda operations are tax dodge loopholes. very common.
We saw that trust business driving FB&T. Looks like an old dawg doing old tricks.
You might folow the “qui bono” daisychain as to who she is associated with and in turn, their contracts, Doug.
One recalls the old communist spy cells with their “interlocking directorates.”
They have some real winners on that Board. Una Anderson’s husband David who was accused of trying to solicit kickbacks (see nola.com archives), Bill Aaron who was involved in the Earthlink/City of New Orleans/One Shell Square controversy (see Nola.com archives), and a host of other parasites. If I was an investor I would sprint not run away from this bank.
Looking through the state Corporations database reveals a treasure trove of information and a unique business model. The connections are intriguing to say the least.
http://www.bayoubuzz.com/buzz/item/2792-blaine-kern-says-son-leap-fabricated-misapplied-louisiana-film-tax-credit-info
….”During the interim, I learned that Barry Kern, Mike Arata, John and Patrick Calhoun had made application for and sold Louisiana Tax Credits involving BKA, Inc. through a company identified as Louisiana Entertainment and Production, LLC (LEAP) which was owned and or controlled by them through which tax credits of almost $1 million were applied for to the State and sold to various individuals, based an alleged expenditures of BKA, Inc. Through my counsel I alerted the District Attorney of Orleans Parish and the Legislative Auditor of this fabrication and mis-application and I fully cooperated with them in providing over 1500 documents that my counsel located, all of which pointed to the fact that the tax credits applied for and sold by LEAP were not based on any legal or legitimate basis. ”
Now it gets weird…..the Patrick of that duo owns the property on Bayou St. John alongside where Monette’s car was found- address 4100 Davey St. That was the bank you see in the press photos. It has become a parking lot and Harrison Bridge a memorial.
and hmmmmmmmmmm…..

Tea leaves telling CSI needed in monette case. Nola.com commenters say no entry site could have car been backed in from Davey street side ?
Anyone who has biked, walked, kayaked along that area KNOW that the map MSM is touting is wrong. Jump a 5 inch curb, thru steel pole pylons, across the bike path into……trees and undergrowth.
Across the bayou, the Davey St property has a long history with the city’s blight department. When the condo suffered fires, vagrants and a collapsed roof, it was still well over a year to get demolition accomplished. There are continual complaints now regarding overgrowth. The assessor’s list the owner as 4100 Davey St LLC.
And who is 4100 Davey St LL.? Read carefully and see who you spot from the media…..

Do you think he let his bosses know that all those people crying on the banks of Bayou St. John were trespassing on his property?
Do you think he knows Bayou St. John is a nationally recognized scenic waterway that he’s been neglecting? It does seem that he’s all for opening up our natural resources to everyone; perhaps that is why his company failed to secure an attractive nuisance.
News With a Twist, indeed!

Joseph Toomy? Is that a misspelling? Or is it Joe Toomey?
Click on the second exhibit to expand it. There is information in the prospectus for each of the board of directors sufficient to identify them. The click takes you to the right section then just scroll down to original page 83 for Joseph F. Toomy.
I can’t tell you where Dale Atkins is, but I sure can tell you where she isn’t — and that’s taking care of the Clerk’s computer system. It is hopelessly outdated for a major court system (It was only a few years ago it was updated from a Wang system!) and pales in comparison to the 24th JDC online system. And if that isn’t bad enough, check out her outdated online forms. They aren’t even in the 21st century with their “19___” dates. See http://www.orleanscdc.com/forms/cdc/dockt5-1.pdf.
Don’t want to walk all over what you might be getting ready. Does it have to do with Bud and the golf courses? Just noticed a very interesting thing or two.
