I am presuming you are talking about the jump in the poles over Florida State, the unbeaten Champion from last year.
But truthfully, just as Alabama was this year before their loss, Florida State’s margins of victory are not what they were last year. They don’t have a complete pushover (Virginia and BC are better than expected this year) for the rest of the year. They may beat No. 6 Notre Dame at home, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the competent teams picks them off before the year is over.
I have been in a severe state of depression since Saturday’s game but have started to come out of it. I must say the team from StarkVegas outplayed our boys by a much bigger margin than the stats showed. I can see the Bulldogs going all the way to the playoffs undefeated. They have the talent and a “fire in the belly” attitude. My hat is off to the new #1 team in the nation.
