  1. by sop81_1 – What a hypocrite you are, do not drag a friend’s name through the mud one day then extend your condolences the next.

  2. sop81_1 corrected himself.
He is entitled to err as are all of us. This does not make him a hypocrite. This makes him human.

  3. Please don’t think I was stating that you were his friend, and for this website to publish a comment stating that “a former partner of his firm left in disgust” among other things, in an earliest post that has since been removed, is ABSOLUTELY not true. Check your facts before posting…

  4. Terri again you are terribly misinformed. Please note this from the obituary:

Roy began his practice in Kenner, Louisiana and was serving as Managing Partner of the firm of D’Aquila, Mullins and Contreras, formerly DeMartini, LeBlanc, D’Aquila & Volk.

That was not a misprint, the Volk was left out purposely.

You posted under your real name and I commend you for that. You work at the firm and I understand your loyalty. But your firm’s website still lists the name as it was on January 25, 2011.

Note the name: D’Aquila, Volk, Mullins & Contreras

Out of the D’Aquila, Volk, Mullins & Contreras two names go back to the old firm, D’Aquila and Volk.

My sources here are rock solid. I understand you are upset. I hope in time you’ll be able to sort out your feelings.

  5. Hey Terri, WTF are you doing with that comment above? It appears now you are just stoking the fire and begging to continue this for some perverted enjoyment of your own. Now that you have entered into the fray, perhaps you could enlighten us all on the true nature of Mr. D’Aquila’s relations to the Jefferson Parish scandal. We are all searching for answers. Provide ’em if you got ’em.
