Hey Anderson: you are making the same mistake local media made in Jefferson Parish over the last 20 years : Talking only to the politicians.
Local media expressed shock when those same guys were busted recently by the Feds.
Saying everyone thought so highly of the bums.
When asked who they had talked to all those years local media responded “well, the bums and the people around them.”
That would be the people getting the fat raises & contracts from the bums.
Sort of exactly like what is happening now with the oil spill
