NFL commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed Tuesday the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings will meet in the Superdome in a rematch of the 2009 NFC Championship game to begin the 2010 NFL season.
The game will be Thursday before the rest of the league opens on Sunday.
