Treble damages are a bitch and then some folks. It’s all on PACER for those so interested but in the interest of time, let’s visit with Anita Lee as she has a good update up for today’s Sun Herald:

Judge: State Farm owes more than $3 million attorney fees, damages in whistle-blower case ~ Anita Lee

Both sides are appealing aspects of Judge Ozerden’s rulings in the case to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.

  1. … anytime STATELESS FARM is ordered to pay anything, it pleases me greatly..
they are the poster child for impersonation of pretending to be ” a good neighbor”….

that company should have been prohibited from selling insurance of ANY sort in ANY state of the Union…
(they and Jimbo the Clown are two peas on a pod… & deserve each other…both frauds to the max…)…

  2. I am truly petrified at the thought of what the 5th Circus might do. There is no greater impediment to justice in the federal court system than the “jurists” that sit on that bench.

    1. NRB, reminds me of one now retired attorney who had a suit some decades ago against railroad worth a few mill in recovery only to have the luck of the draw to have a jurist with the railroad stock in his “blind trust.” But then, everything is comparative – the Fifth is the worst of a bad bunch, agreed.
