Monday Music: Geithner reportedly still looking for the license plate number of the truck that just ran his ass over but football season is soon…..

And the headline of the day from Yahoo Finance is: Shades of 2008: World Markets on Edge Ahead of Monday’s U.S. Open. ~ One silver lining is that gas will become cheaper at the pump.

We have a reader request for Monday Music and it is a good choice.  Dedicated to Tim Geithner who never met a Wall Street exec he failed to pay a taxpayer-funded bonus to under the ruse of contract sanctity. FYYFF!

  1. When will Congress, now dominated by the Republicans, investigate Geithner – after they investigate themselves for ties to wall street.

Sure wish the tea partyers would OK taxing the million dollar- a -year club (321,000 in US) I bet wall street has a few members in that club.

  2. I have some links that will make you see even more red Locke for later.

I almost hate to mention this because it is gloating but in my risk capital portfolio I own 1 stock and it is actually a gainer today.

It is a microcap and thinly traded but 28,000 shares intraday is heavy for it. Those that sold today are likely already regretting it.

Regarding Congress I recommend pitchforks and a very large angry mob.
