Meantime over in the City Adrastos skewers Vitty

I think I’m fixing to join the party and skewer me a politician or two as ’tis the season. Until then enjoy Adrastos who can also be found on twitter.

As you may have already heard by now, Bitter Vitter is a champion #KochSucker and literally, not figuratively, as Joey the Shark is wont to say. Last week Vitter inserted his head up the Koch’s pasty white rectums and left it there, which gives a whole new meaning to the name Diaper Dave:

Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) told a town hall audience on Tuesday that he believes oil billionaires Charles and David Koch to be “two of the most patriotic Americans in the history of the Earth.” A ThinkProgress review of campaign contribution records finds that he and his leadership PAC have received at least $57,500 from the brothers’ corporate political action committee.

“I’ll be honest with you,” Vitter says in video posted by American Bridge 21st Century, “My reaction is: God bless the Koch brothers. They’re fighting for our freedom.”

Romney swears Senator Vitter advised him to be “divisive” while Vitter claims he told Romney to wear a diaper

Dave just because it works in Louisiana dude……

David Vitter and other Louisiana Republicans reject pundits’ views on why Romney lost. ~Bruce Alpert

That ain’t donut glaze on David Vitter’s diaper as he was the biggest loser in Saturday’s election

The Louisiana  TEA Party, by extension, is also a big loser.  John Maginnis has some quality analysis for the Times Picayune of Jay Dardenne’s win over Nunny and Jim Tucker’s crushing loss in the Secretary of State’s race.

Not mentioned by also big losers was the Jefferson Parish Council who now will have to learn to deal with an independent inspector general.

Wednesday Music Special: Dedicated to Diaper Dave and Representative Weiner

In Dave’s case the lyrics change from “dirty love” to “dirty diapers”. In the end it appears Rep. Weiner will prove to be the bigger man.

A quick political thought while I have a second here at lunchtime…..

This morning on WWL AM the debate last night on WWL TV between Diaper David Vitter and Charlie Melancon was one of the topics for discussion.  I didn’t see any of last night’s debate, which apparently got ugly when Daiper Dave crawfished when asked if he broke the law by using his campaign cash to pay for prostitutes before he launched into a weird diatribe against mexican roofers and ditch diggers. From the sound of it no new ground was broken and the voters who turned in were disgusted.

All that said I did see part of the senatorial debate on Channel 6 a few nights ago moderated by Norman Robinson (of MR Go fame) and remember thinking that Gidget counted more than a few former customers on that debate set. Norman liked ’em blonde to hear Gidget tell the story, the blonder the better in fact not that Wendy Cortez wasn’t a looker herself.  Mrs Vitter isn’t bad looking herself but she obviously drew the line at dressing up her hubby in huggies before sex.  😉 Lest I digress…….

We’ve had a few folks ask lately about getting a subscription to Slabbed including our posts being sent straight to your email inbox.  Click here and type in in the blog subscription box.  After doing that hit the “Subscription settings” hyperlink on the upper right of the blog frame and select how often you want our post delivered to your inbox.  As always we thank you for your support.

There are phone calls I have yet to return as well as emails and for that I apologize in advance.  Please bear with me while real life intrudes and interferes with my routine blogging.

Billy Nungesser's name surfaces in the Canal Street Madam's black book.

We were leaked Nungesser’s name over the weekend after we reignited the conversation about the contents of the infamous Canal Street Madam black book.  I am very happy to see Miss Maier speak out publicly on this. Jay Vice at WWL 870 has the story. (H/T Whitmergate):

Jeanette Maier, the so-called “canal street madam,” says that her brothel serviced Billy Nungesser Jr., president of Plaquemines Parish before he was a political figure.

Maier claimed today in an interview with WWL that Nungesser visited her establishment in the 1980s, and that his father, a long-time political figure, had to pay Nungesser’s $10,000 tab at the brothel. Continue reading “Billy Nungesser's name surfaces in the Canal Street Madam's black book.”

Slabbed goes under the covers and plunges into USA v Maier: Judge Lemelle declares open season on the Canal Street Madam's "black book". Is the speculation about Diaper David Vitter being a bad shot premature?

Initially I thought this post would be of the wham, bam, thank you ma’am variety where I could upload a few PACER docs and call it a day.  Instead, reading one court filing lead to another and then the googling commenced in earnest and this despite the fact I followed the Canal Street Madam case real time including the post Katrina introduction of Louisiana’s most famous whore hopper, Diaper David Vitter into the saga by Mark Moseley aka Oyster at Your Right Hand Thief, a blog which graced our original blogroll until Mark scored a gig at The Lens, an investigative blog which we now feature on our list of links.

Complicating matters is the introduction of new players to the saga and they had to be checked as well.  Throw in the fact a movie featuring Miss Maier’s story is being released as we speak and while I’ve had a consistent interest in this case we’re not interested in being an unwitting part of a viral marketing campaign in support of other people’s for profit endeavors, no matter how compelling the story. I satisfied myself such was not the case with the tips given us.

With that bit of background in place I’ll go ahead and put in a plug for the movie so our readers that are not so familiar with the Canal Street Madam case can catch up.

The CBS investigative news magazine 48 hours also covered the case in depth in a 3 part report which can be found here.
