From the looks of it folks, it appears Magnum spent the past couple of weeks doing what he does best in passing lots of threats to his now departed former co workers, who appear to be suing preemptively.

Curious. It doesn’t say how much – but is the point that he’s been claiming (threatening) to sue the departed attorneys for breech of all those various duties?
Assume “the departed” were not members of the LLP – otherwise, they would clearly have those duties. Anyone know if it was “single member” LLP?

Holding service is not unusual. You have 90 days in Louisiana to request that a lawsuit be served. Sometimes, this buys time to try to amicably resolve the matter.
On another note, though, I am somewhat confused on the wording of this lawsuit. You were at will, but you claim an entitlement to profits and you resigned, yet you claim no fiduciary duties to the firm. I probably would have done something other than a declaratory action. Strange!
