  1. The irony of all this? The lease between SRHS and MOB contained a provision whereby SRHS had the option of purchasing the building at fair market value at the 10-year mark of this long-term lease. I believe that 10-year window is (was) coming up in the next 12 – 18 months. So the county and SRHS just spent hundreds of thousands of dollars (if not millions) in unnecessary legal/attorney fees to ultimately do what it had a right/option to do anyway…with no added legal costs. Now that’s a great way to spend taxpayer money!
