  1. Does anyone think that it’s a coincidence that these two stories were released on the same day? And about that $100,000 business consulting fee paid to Chris Roberts …why would anyone pay such a fee to an individual who can’t even keep his own business affairs in order. This just doesn’t pass the smell test.

    1. Like the article said, Roberts has been telling people for months he is in the clear. It appears the US Attorney may not share that sentiment. The black out period due to the election will be here soon. That suggests if an indictment is coming it will be sooner rather than later.

  2. Today’s news Roberts former condo manager plead guilt sure sign shes working with the government . Feds using her as the stick and the carrot is so far no charges for Roberts while in office means he can be incarcerated and collect his pension. But if he wont play ball then grandma would be a very believable witness for a jury . Those who are named in the Nemzoff $2 billion medicaid fraud Que Tam better lawyer up but dose not stop there. Has anyone noticed directly after amending the parish procurement ordinance dropping the required affidavit that the contract meets parish, state and federal laws that were being falsified then parish attorney Powers retired yet he remains working while Dwyer is named parish attorney ?
