Great work, Doug. The Mayor and some on the Council are the personification of “tax and spend bureaucrats” You know, the ones who will hire someibw to turn on the light switch and someone else to turn it off! But, when funds start running low, they never think of cutting back, just tax their captive audience, the good old taxpayers. And it goes on and on, until someone holds them accountable, and that time has not just arrived, it is past due.
I understand a high ranking department head ( or I guess he’s one of those they created a title for) said recently that he was going to hang in for another year just for the money. Now, supposedly he is retiring in Aug. Guess he found out there is no “money.” Some more of them can go too!!
