The pushback from the council on state of the city’s finances has been LONG OVERDUE!!! Especially since the oversight and approval of the annual budget is THEIR JOB!!! #abouttime

Councilman Boudin has always asked pointed questions and raised red flags, but he also has a personal agenda. Not to mention, he has been outnumbered on the council for many years and has had to play along to get along. #shrewd #WIIFM

Don’t always agree in his approach or believe some of the things he presents as facts, but I’m glad to see Councilman Falgout’s “Churchill” approach to the budget situation. #nevernevernevergiveup #bigthanks
Councilman Favre has not been afraid to state the obvious since being elected. He understands his responsibility to his constituents and has been clear and concise about his concerns from the get go. #keepupthegreatwork #bigthanks
The Administration has been out to lunch for years. #blameitontherain

Will be interesting to see how this all plays out in the “paper” of record…..they’ve had exceptionally poor coverage of Hancock County for years. When they do show up to cover “hard” news – they usually get it all wrong. Maybe having two “reporters” on site tonight will help things. #miraclesdohappen
