The exact term in the text message was the JP Housing Authority has been “raided” by the FBI. I’ll have more details as they become available.

I guess the beauty of this story is in the eyes of the beholder. I imagine folks like Chris Roberts found out by early afternoon yesterday. Whether he leaked it would be a different matter. Once again, Slabbed scoops because of a well placed janitor. I like that.

Looks like they were tipped off late in the game.
As I understand this whole deal, from a macro standpoint the Housing Authority of Jefferson Parish exists to keep affordable housing out of the City of Gretna.
I know, lots of if, and and buts to fill in but people are talking, especially the folks at Jani-King.
