In this episode of Magnum J.D.: Slabbed solves the mystery of Foti’s facinorous fecalith

Last week I published a curious letter of recommendation for Team Magnum from former Louisiana attorney General Charles Foti which our readers know came from Magnum’s official website.  The verdict is in and the legal community gave the letter 2 big thumbs down with many observers mentioning it represents a serious ethical breach on Foti’s part. But that letter was really the question as we must explore the case where it entered the public domain and luckily for us a little mouse familiar with the doings in town was kind enough to give us a tip and Slabb’s own Secret Agent 99 was kind enough to accept the assignment of researching the CDC archives.

So without further adieu allow me to present Magnum v Safe Storage, a fee suit involving a former friend with a tawdry back story. This case settled, likely after that letter from Foti surfaced in discovery. Click the pic to get the 12 page pdf of Mag’s complaint and Safe Storage’s answer. ~ sop
