It is a stubborn, stubborn fact that Clancy Dubos is a complete sellout like Garlandfill.

And no folks, I do not think it was a coincidence the Gambit took a shot at me back in July. That said it also comes as no surprise that Gambitman Clancy Dubos does what he can to come to Garlandfill’s defense with a tug at the ol’ heartstrings as he takes a nostalgic trip down Eau de Landfill Lane on Garlandfill’s behalf. The rationalizations and twisted logic is sickening.

Maybe, just maybe Clancy, Garlandfill should have gone to the bank and avoided the situation altogether.  Ethics is not a hard concept to grasp.

  1. Check the link in my previous comment. Clarence claims he has done no work for Berrigan Litchfield since late 2005. Now look at the document I have linked here and you will see that in the bio he submitted in 2006, he claims to still be with the firm. Lo and behold, look at who was on the seminar faculty with Clarence; it's our old friend Dane "ethics" Ciolino, Garladfill's lawyer. Nice going Clance. You might want to let Plattsmier know that a firm for whom you have not worked in the past 6 years is still touting you as being of counsel. Is that misleading?

And if you have the ability, run a search for Dubos and Ciolino in the La. state and federal databases in Westlaw. Some lawyers!

  2. You know the old saying Sock "the problem with telling lies is you can't keep them all straight." Clancy doesn't seem to be one to let a few pesky facts get in the way of some good bullshit.

What a combo, Berrigan Litchfield and whatever media outlet Dubos happens to be working for at the time.

  3. Clancy, it has long been rumored, is a kept man.
The word is that without his wife's money and clout ( and possibly smarts) he would be just another hack lawyer. Word has always been that she wears the pants. She made Gambit. Not him. I don't know if any of this is absolutely accurate but it has been on the streets for many many years.
So of course if this is all true, he is going to see nothing wrong with Robinette putting his wife out there on a loan so he could build a studio to spend his last years on earth doing what he wanted to do. What a wuss. Why wasn't he concerned with funding his child's education? Or making certain his family was taken care of postmortem? No, he wanted to paint. Selfish, self-centered and used to having someone else load the cart , pull the cart and pay off the cart so he could ride free.
Disgusting. He should have manned-up and done the right thing…and he should do it now…get off the radio…stop lying about not selling your opinion ( too many TV ads Garland) and get a real job…one where you actually work for a living, not just run your mouth about nothing for hours on end in support of your friends' hidden agendas.

  4. Margaret J. DuBos ( listed on Gambit Corporate documents ) = Margo
So Clancy is 'The Chairman' ( I can just hear Margo saying " Clancy, don't touch anything, don't think about touching anything and just sit in The Chair.")

  5. And can anyone tell me just what this non-profit of Margo's does exactly? And for whose Entertainment, Development and Education is it set up? Has it made interest free loans to 'deserving' entertainers ( would Garland's painting be entertainment?) Perhaps it funds Education for 'deserving' students of ailing painters? Scholarships? Any well-heeled 'friends' donate to it or fundraise for it? Yaknow, yajustwannaknow these things sometimes.

  6. At a UNO function a few years ago my wife and I were introduced to Margo and Clancy.. After the conversation broke up my wife commented to me "it is clear who the boss is in that family and who has the money and owns Gambit".

  7. RING—— RING——— RING——– Hello, this is The Great Dane at your service.- You poop and we polish.

Dane, this is Clancy —-I did what you told me and I've tried shoe polish and Pledge but this Garlandfill guy's turds are just stubborn, won't shine up and are still dull and smelly.

Well Clancy, it's time to pull out the Febreeze and the ultimate weapon. What's that Dane ? Minwax's Polyurethane!!!!! Yep,it will not only seal them up with an airtight alibi but give them years of a brilliant, professional shine.

Thanks Dane, you're THE ALLTIME BEST.
