Nancy you ignorant media whoring slut: “Tot Tee Vee” took one on the chin (and it ain’t doughnut glaze…)

For you partisan media freaks that read this blog it is duly noted that I’ve ripped on Faux News enough lately that our shorter term readers may not know that we also have fun with CNN here at Slabbed including calling out CNN’s Anderson Cooper for cavorting with local political whores during the oil spill little over a year ago. Tee Vee news outfits like CNN and Faux News, (likely along with your local news outlets) are way more show biz than journalism. I don’t watch much cable news and sensationalized coverage of stories like the Casey Anthony trial are the reason.

Evidently Grace shamelessly used the tragic death of a 3 year old to boost her show’s ratings as she evidently tried and convicted Casey Anthony for her daughter’s death on the Tee Vee. Fact is the entire Tee Vee media herd was balls deep in the Anthony saga and it looks like most whiffed but none as spectacularly as Grace, who shares the distinction with Mary Landrieu of strongly reminding me of Miss Piggy.

To the extent these are same folks that made the trailer trash lady from Wasilla who shall remain nameless (along with her single mom daughter) a national media sensation take my advice and just say no to Tot Tee Vee.

  1. I’m not quite sure what I, as a “human being”, am supposed to get out of this POST and the one Comment thus far. Casey Anthony is a CHILD KILLER, And her lawyer, who is a slithering “lower than a snake” thing, is worse than a KILLER. Mya both of them ROT IN HELL. Ashton O’Dwyer.

  2. Oh! And I forgot: The “Tony Orlando” jury: What a bunch of ASSHOLES. Too much Walt Disney and not enough Clint Eastwood. And don’t forget the “slave” Judge. Wasn’t he “wonderful”? Ashton O’Dwyer.

    1. Ashton you of all people should understand the national tee vee media character assassination gig. Imagine if I had bought into the bullshit about you peddled on CBS after Katrina.

So who do you trust buddy, national media whores that peddle less than half the story or the jury that heard all the evidence? For me it isn’t close.

  3. Nancy Grace is a repugnant troll. She may have contributed more to this verdict than anyone. I have my issues with felony criminal defense lawyers, but I also think that the arrogant prosecutor’s unprofessional laughing during the defense’s closing pissed off the jury. Although I think Casey did it, there was ample reasonable doubt.

  4. Is anyone suprised by the way Nancy Grace,a name not befitting her at all, handled this story? Go back to the Duke lacross story. She had these boys under the jail and was blaming their parents for the way the were raised with priveledge for being the cause of their behavior. When it came out that DA Nifong doctored the evidence and the girl was lying about the rape, Nancy was no where to be found. If I remember correctly; she took the next day off. Her show had a sub host.
    There were no suprises here.

  5. Having been “Maggoed” a few times, I would say that the State got “magooed” on this one. An alternate was interviewed and he said that the “jury got it right because the prosecutors had no evidence and did not prove motive.” Was he fucking sleeping through the trial?

Come on folks, if she lied about so much of the underlying facts AND they offered evidence that she wanted to continue living her sluttly life unimpeded by a child whose father is not even known (that raises so many other issues/questions for me) AND they found duct tape opver her mouth, how can you have any reasonable doubts here.

The State got “magooed” if they allowed Joan Baez to float the BS defenses in opening statement which were unsupported by one scintilla of evidence. He should be sanctioned for making mention of molestation and pool drowning when there was no proof of that! If a lawyer did that in Louisiana, he would be sent to the moon by the judge. Total crap is what I say. All of this BS about the “system worked” and “the jury has spoken” is just liberal justification for the end result. Sorry, SOP, but on this one I vehemently disagree with you.

  6. Ima:

I agree that Baez should be sanctioned for the reasons you stated, but I completely disagree with you on the rest. The alternate and the jury got it right. The lying, sociopathic whore was overcharged, and the State did not prove its case. End of story . . . don’t be Mancy Graceless.

  7. It wouldn’t be the first time IMA but this time I think the facts are on my side. Remember I never opined about Anthony’s guilt or innocence, rather about the quality of the TeeVee coverage which presented a very distorted picture of what was happening in that courtroom.

The jury did its job and IMHO did it well. Why? Mainly because the prosecution case was weak.

The government failed to establish how 2-year-old Caylee Anthony died and they couldn’t find her mother’s DNA on the duct tape they said was used to suffocate her. There was conflicting testimony on whether the putrid smell inside the family’s car was a decomposing body or simply trash, and it was never quite clear why chloroform was so important.

And it is also clear the jury took its charge very seriously despite the rantings of Grace:

Casey Anthony juror Jennifer Ford told ABC News that she and the other jurors cried and were “sick to our stomachs” after voting to acquit Casey Anthony of charges that she killed her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

“I did not say she was innocent,” said Ford, who had previously only been identified as juror number 3. “I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be.”

I saw somewhere else where there are 11 other child murders awaiting prosecution in Florida alone. Anthony ended up on the TeeVee for a reason and it had nothing to do with her crime IMHO.

Nancy Grace remains a media whore.

  8. I wasn’t even aware this was going on until maybe Friday or so when I heard about it from every corner. And I sue did not watch any coverage of it.

I really just thought she would be convicted in no time at all and before this weekend I probably would have guessed it had already happened.

But then I just saw this, from one of the jurors:

“I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be.”

I could be wrong and maybe I don’t recall this correctly, but the state does not even have to produce a victim’s BODY in murder cases. The mother could have used any variety of means, but to me the partying post

  9. …{cont’d} to me the partying post disappearance is about as damning as it gets.

She might as well have put on a wig and been seen bicycling away from the scene of the crime (Vince Marinello) or perhaps hopped in her white Ford Bronco with her best friend, stuff her pockets with her passport and cash and headed for the border (you know who, but that evidence was never shown…).

  10. IMA : I’m with you totally on your on point arguments above.

Any attorney who alleges in an opening statement an alternative fantasy scenario ,i.e. drowning and then the defendant alleging such fantasy does not take the stand to state under oath the facts of such a fantasy and be cross examined ,should be disbarred and a mistrial declared on the spot.

What I would like to see happen is the state followup with charges of incest against Mr.Anthony requiring Casey to finally take the stand for some serious questioning and then perjury charges against Mrs.Anthony for affying she was at home looking up chlorophyll on her computer when the prosecutor provided evidence she was at work from her employment records. Thereby placing one family member liar against another.

Maybe there will result a few family murders, which the state should refuse to prosecute, thereby wiping out a few of these family misfit liars.

  11. Then we will agree to disagree . . . Nancy “Imaangry” Grace. I thought Casey looked pretty hot at sentencing.

  12. LOL. I know your mind Sock and I agree. Not, with the personal insult, though. I despise that sad as excuse for a commentator/(gulp) lawyer.
