Today, Columbus Georgia based Aflac is being hammered on the stock market, mainly because of the fact it’s major underwriting markets are in the US and Japan with 75% of its business coming from Japan.

I mention all this because Gilbert Gottfried, voice of the American Aflac goose was fired today from that role because of offensive tweets he posited on the Japanese Earthquake. Was Gilbert sore all these years because the Japanese consumer hated his goose-over?
