Moment for moment, the greatest moment of all Thank you, Judge Ozerden; Judge Roper; Alford Clausen &amp McDonald for Lexington; and, last but not least, a standing O for Katrina’s plaintiff pro se

Katrina’s plaintiff pro se gave us the moment:

Damn all the odds!
…When I look back,I will always recall,
Moment for moment,This was the moment,
The greatest moment of them all.

Whatever Lexington offered, I believe the Company’s counsel approached settlement with the same grace and professional manner they’ve handled this case.

Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge John M. Roper: Settlement Conference held on 6/23/2009. Settlement was reached. (Nicaud, Jenny) (Entered: 06/23/2009)

Although often on my mind, I’ve only written twice about Katrina’s plaintiff pro se:

If you could see the docket, you’d realize how much I could and should have written.  I wanted to write more.  I just couldn’t.  However, if you’ve ever watched a bird build and tend its nest and then ready its young to leave, you’ll understand what it was like to watch this case unfold and see Pro Se held to the standard with such extraordinary respect for both the law and the plaintiff.

Trust me on this. – Magistrate Judge Roper and Judge Ozerden alike have honored us all with their conduct of this case.   I believe if you ask “Pro Se” she’d say they were just doing their job – and she would be so very right, even if her meaning and my understanding differ.

When I look back, I will always recall,
Moment for moment,This was the moment,
The greatest moment of them all.
